Project Officer – Tackling Indigenous Smoking (TIS)
Full time until June 2022 and then subject to ongoing funding
About Maari Ma Health
Maari Ma Health is an Aboriginal community controlled health service that has been providing a quality service to the Aboriginal people of far western New South Wales for more than 20 years and employs over 120 people within the region.
About the Role
You will work closely with the second TIS Project Officer to drive and implement the Tackling Indigenous Smoking program.
Develop and implement an approved social marketing campaign, including TV advertisements, radio, bill board advertisements, posters etc. Actively plan and coordinate approved community events, built around the Deadly Choices branding and embedding TIS and healthy lifestyle programs and messages.
Actively support Maari Ma Smoking Cessation workforce education program and implementation of our Smoke Free Homes and Cars Program.
Salary up to $52,000 – $79,000 gross per annum (Depending on qualifications and experience)
